Application jump by record number @ U of Chicago

The University of Chicago received the largest applicant pool in her history; 12,381 for this year, up from 10,334 applicants last year. Many of you already know that the trend is not confined to the university. Another news from the university--this could be a good news to those who are aspiring to apply to the school next year--is that they will phase out the notorious Uncommon Application in favor of the widely used Common Application.
